Error code Description
28x.68 Staple ready home position jam (staple finisher)
The sensor (self priming) within the stapler
assembly does not detect a ready staple prior to
a staple job.
Staples empty.
28x.69 Staple ready home position jam (staple finisher)
The sensor (self priming) within the stapler
assembly does not detect a ready staple in the
specified time after the staple job was sent.
Staples not empty.
28x.70 Stapler mechanism not in home position failure
(staple finisher)
The sensor (home signal) within the stapler
assembly detected that the stapler mechanism
was not in the home position before stapling.
28x.71 Deflector gate transition to standard bin not
detected (staple finisher)
The sensor (deflector gate HP) does not detect
transition of the deflector gate to the standard bin.
28x.72 Sensor (media in stapler) static jam (staple finisher)
Media remains on the sensor (media in stapler)
during the warmup sequence.
Invalid ejector motor manager status (staple finisher) service check
