Chapter 2 - Quickstart
2:2 Configuration
1. Enter the Application Setting by pressing the left selection key twice.
Press Select using the left selection key.
2. Select the appropriate type of load by using the navigation keys.
3. Press Store Set and Nex t to continue or Back to previous parameter
using the selection keys.
4. Set Ie (motor FLA) using the navigation keys.
In Line connected = rated motor current
Inside Delta connected = 58%
example, if the soft starter is connected in line with a 100A motor, Ie =
100A. If the softstarter is connected inside the delta of a 100A motor, Ie
= 58A.
5. Press Store and Next to continue or press Back to access the previous
parameter.
6. Set the required overload class using the navigation keys.
7. Press Store and Next to continue or press Back to access the previous
parameter.
8. If an external by-pass contactor is used set Ext ByPass to Yes using the

navigation keys. (PST30...300 only).
9. Press Store and Next to continue or Back to previous parameter using
the selection keys.

10.Select Yes if ready or Tune Set if ramp times, initial voltage, current
limit etc. need to be adjusted.
2:3 Start of the motor
