Chapter 5 Detailed Function Introductions
Brake first and then start: Inverter adds some DC braking power to load first, and then startup. As shown in
Figure. 5-1-1. Starting mode 1 is suitable for small inertia load which is running forward or reverse while the
inverter is in stop state, such as fan load. DC braking parameters refer to P1.03 and P1.04.
When the control mode is "closed-loop vector control", even if the startup mode is "starting at the starting
frequency", the speed tracking start-up is also performed. The difference from "speed tracking" startup mode
lies in that when "P1.02 starting frequency hold time" is not 0, and the corresponding running frequency of
the current speed is greater than the starting frequency, decrease the speed to the corresponding speed of
starting frequency, and keep the inverter run at the set frequency after maintaining "starting frequency hold
time".

Rotating speed tracking restart: Search and catch the motor's running direction and speed, and then start at
the caught speed , running to the reference frequency within the Acc/Dec time, realize smooth start of motor,
as shown in Figure. 5-1-2. This mode is suitable for the motor with big inertial load.
