Controls the PC interface, print image
processing, operation panel, and other
controller options.
Connects the controller to the BICU board.
Interfaces printer to the network.

directly and through other control boards.

(excluding the paper feed section), and the
fusing lamp power.
Controls the mechanical parts of all paper
feed sections.
Supplies high voltage to the drum charge
roller, development roller, and transfer belt.
Provides DC power to the system and AC
power to the fusing.
Controls the laser diode.
Controls the duplex unit.
Drives the main body components.
Raises the bottom plate in the paper tray.
Turns the polygonal mirror.
Rotates the LD unit to adjust the LD beam
pitch when a different resolution is selected.
Removes heat from the main PCBs.
Removes heat from around the fusing unit.
Rotates the toner bottle to supply toner to
the development unit.
Removes heat from the PSU.
Drives the inverter roller.
Drives the upper and lower transport rollers.
Informs the CPU when the LD unit is at the
home position.
Detects the amount of toner inside the
development unit.
Detects misfeeds.
