This printer uses a drum charge roller instead of a scorotron corona wire to charge
the drum. The drum charge roller [A] is always in contact with the surface of the
drum [B] to give it a negative charge.
The high voltage supply board [C] gives a negative DC voltage to the drum charge
roller through the charge roller terminal [D], bias plate [E], and the rear roller
bushing [F]. This gives the drum surface a negative charge of –950 V.
