6.6.2 TRANSFER BELT

1. Remove the transfer belt unit. (See Transfer Belt Unit.)
2. Remove the belt drive gear [A].
3. Remove the screws [B] on both sides and turn the belt holder [C] until it is
vertical.
4. Remove the transfer belt [D].
NOTE: 1) Do not touch the transfer belt surface with bare hands.
2) Before installing the new transfer belt, clean all the rollers and shafts
with alcohol to prevent the belt from slipping.
3) When re-installing the transfer belt, make sure that the belt is under the
pin [E].
4) When re-installing, to avoid damage to the transfer belt, manually turn
the rollers and check that the new transfer belt is not running over the
edge of any of the rollers.
