The pressure springs [A] constantly apply pressure between the hot roller [B] and
the pressure roller [C].
Adjusting the position of the pressure springs can change the pressure. The left
position [D] is the normal setting. The right position [E] increases the pressure and
this maintains the fusing efficiency of the fusing unit.

The cleaning roller [A] is always in contact with the pressure roller [B]. It collects
toner and paper dust adhering to the surface of the pressure roller. This is because
the cleaning roller is made of metal and collects matter more easily than the
pressure roller, which has a Teflon coating.
