PCIe expansion board options

The server supports installation of options in the PCIe riser board assembly. For more information about
supported options, see the product QuickSpecs on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website
(http://www.hpe.com/info/qs).
Some expansion board options may ship with a plastic baffle or scoop installed on the board. Always
remove this baffle before attempting to install either option on this server.
IMPORTANT: Remove the baffle or scoop from the controller before installing the controller
in the PCIe riser board assembly.
To remove the component:
Power down the server (on page 28).

Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
2.
Remove the server (on page 28).
3.
Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
4.
Disconnect the intra-tray signal cable from the power expander board.
