IMPORTANT: When replacing a GPU accelerator, you must switch the front brackets
between the old and new accelerators using the following procedures.
Remove the HPE front bracket from the defective accelerator you are replacing, and save it to install

onto the new accelerator.
For new AMD accelerators, remove the front bracket from the accelerator:

Remove the top cover of the accelerator.
a.
IMPORTANT: Always slide the tabs on the front bracket under the GPU board for installation.
Remove the existing front bracket from the accelerator. Retain the screws for future use, and
b.
retain the front bracket to install onto the defective accelerator.
For new Intel and NVIDIA accelerators, remove the existing front bracket from the accelerator.

Retain the screws for future use, and retain the front bracket to install onto the defective accelerator.
Install the front bracket that you removed from the defective accelerator onto the new accelerator
