PROCEDURES BEFORE OPERATION
System planning
Plan the system configuration of the E71.
Mounting
Mount the E71 on the base unit.
Wiring
Connect an Ethernet cable to the E71.
Setting parameters
Set the following parameters, which are required to start up
the E71, on a programming tool.
Basic setting
Ethernet operation setting
Restarting the CPU module
Reflect the parameter settings by powering off and on the CPU
module or resetting the CPU module.
Network diagnostics
Check that the cables are connected properly or that
communications are performed normally with the set
parameters. (PING test, loopback test)
