Selecting the stick Mode

13.2.5.
The stick mode defines the association between the
stick axis and the controlled function. However, the
mode affects only the functions Roll, Pitch, Yaw and
Collective pitch. Throttle is controlled automatically
by the collective pitch stick ( 13.8.).
First consider the functions you wish to control using
the left stick, then look up the appropriate mode in
the table below.
Mode table for the left stick:
Stick movements, left stick
forward/back
left/right
Yaw (rudder)
Pitch
(elevator)
Roll (aileron)
Yaw (rudder)
Collect. pitch
(and throttle)
Roll (aileron)
The double arrows following the mode code numbers
indicate where pitch (elevator) (
é
(
) are located.
The stick functions for the right stick are assigned
automatically.
Example: we will assume that you want pitch (eleva-
tor) and roll (aileron) on the left stick; in which case
you would select Mode 3. Yaw (rudder) and collective
pitch (and throttle) are now automatically on the right
stick.
Turn the 3-D digi-adjuster to the right until the select
bar is over the Mode line, then press the 3-D digi-
