ROYAL SX
When you enter a letter at the start of a text input, or
after a space, this is automatically displayed as a
capital letter, with the following letters automatically
set in lower case. If you wish to enter a series of capi-
tal letters, simply 'leaf past' the lower-case letters, and
the capitals will follow. When you select a letter, the
cursor automatically moves on to the next position.
The cursor can also be moved forward or back manu-
ally to any position using either of the two 3-D digi-
adjusters.
Text input is concluded by pressing the ENTER but-
ton. The screen now displays a request to input text:

The ROYAL SX menu structure
You will find a diagram of the ROYAL SX menu struc-
ture in the coloured A3 supplement to the manual.
Please refer to the supplement when reading this sec-
tion.
The ROYAL SX has four menu levels:
 Status displays (not shown in the Overview)
 Main menu
 Menu
 Sub-menu
The Status display supplies information about the
transmitter and the current model, and is divided up
over four screens. You can switch between the dis-
plays using the ▲ and ▼ buttons. The Status display
appears when you switch the transmitter on, or when
you leave the main menus. The four Status displays
are not shown in the Overview. Please see Chapter
( 10.6.) for details regarding the Status display.
The six main menus are called up using the six direct
menu access buttons. Within the main menus all you
will find is branches leading into the menus them-
selves. Each branch is always indicated by a series of
four full stops.
The menus can contain both branches into sub-
menus, as well as parameters.
The sub-menus only contain parameters.
Parameters are variable values which appear in
menus and sub-menus. Some only provide infor-
mation, but others are in a form which can be altered.
Invariable parameters are skipped when you leaf
through the menus.
