Menu ¢TriggerPoint
15.3.
In this menu you can set the switching thresholds for:
 the stick
symbol ‡,
(left or right stick, according to mode) and
 the two sliders E and F.
If a switching process is set up to operate with these
three transmitter controls, you can define a point
which determines when the switching is to take place:

Example: switching a Timer at ¼ -throttle
Since the range extends from -100% to 100%, the
switching point for ¼ -throttle must be set at -50%.
Tip: using throttle / spoiler as switch
The sketch below clearly shows the connection bet-
ween the control position and the switching threshold.
For example, if the motor run time is to start at ¼ -
throttle, the threshold for the associated transmitter
control must be set to -50%.

Control menu screen layout

In our example we show the display for the transmitter
control Aileron with all the available set-up parame-
ters. However, the screen may not look exactly like
this, depending on the transmitter controls you have
assigned, and the parameters associated with them:
The screen is divided into three areas:
1. Transmitter control names, active flight phase
At the top is the name of the transmitter control (in
our example Aileron). Next to this is the name of
the active flight phase (in our example the flight
phase NORMAL).

2. Parameter list
On the left you will see a clearly arranged list of all
the parameters for the selected transmitter control,
together with their set values.
3. Graph
The graph on the right of the screen shows in
graphic form the effect of all the settings you have
selected. The curve immediately reflects any
changes you make to the settings, and also clearly
shows the behaviour of the transmitter control: the
vertical dotted line shows the current position of the
control.
In addition to the set-up parameters, the screen also
shows two more items of information:
The small, high-set hyphen following the parameter
name indicates that this value can be allocated to one
of the 3-D digi-adjusters, and can then be adjusted in
flight ( 20.1.):
Expo –
The small number (1 to 4) following the parameter
name indicates that this value may vary from flight
phase to flight phase ( 19.4.):
Trim ˜
Some parameters can be allocated to a 3-D digi-
adjuster, and can also be set to different values for
each flight phase. In this case both symbols are dis-
played:
Travel

Parameter Trim

15.4.1.
for controls:
Aileron, Elevator, Rudder
for controls:
Roll, Pitch, Yaw
Display only
One trim value for each flight phase
The digital trim position is displayed graphically in bar-
form in status displays 1 - 3. The parameter Trim also
shows the trim setting of the transmitter control in the
appropriate flight phase as a % value.

Parameter Step (Trim increment)

15.4.2.
Aileron, Elevator, Rudder,
for controls:
Throttle
for controls:
Roll, Pitch, Yaw
Adjustment
1.5% (= normal) / 0.5% (= fine) /
range:
2.5% / 3.5%
The range of the digital trims of the ROYAL SX is ±
20 steps. The parameter Step can be used to define
the trim change for each trim increment as a % figure.
For example, you could obtain a maximum trim range
of ±10% with Step 0.5%, and ±30% with Step 1.5%:
-90%
2.0%
-90%
