 Servos 1 to 9 are pre-defined
 All servo assignments can be changed at any time
in any way (Menu: K Servo, Assignment).
For example, servo 4 (Throttle) could be changed
to tow-release (Tow rel.) if your model features that
function.
b. Transmitter control assignment
Aileron, elevator and rudder are defined by the stick
mode which you have selected in Step ( 12.2.5.).
In the menu L, Assignment, Controls you will find:
 Throttle at slider E, Idle position "back":

the Idle position. Try moving slider E to confirm this.
 Spoiler on the stick, idle position "forward":

Switches not in use are marked as " --- - ", and are
not listed here.
Tip: you can now carry out an initial check of the
working systems using the servo monitor; you don't
need the model for this. Move to the monitor as fol-
lows:

effects on-screen.

When you access the Monitor menu you will see the
bar graph display. Rotate the 3-D digi-adjuster to tog-
gle between the two types of display. Press the 3-D
digi-adjuster to leave the servo monitor.
12.2.8.

Entering the model name

The model you have just stored initially bears the
name of the template you are using. In our example
this would be 4 FLAPS. To help you keep track of
your models, you should change this default name to
the actual model name.
This is the procedure:
a. Open the main menu ¦Memory
(press button I).
b. Select the Properties menu and open it:

¨Exit
Select model ....
Copy
Erase
Flight phase ....
Properties
ªNew model
(Select using the 3-D digi-adjuster, then press).
c. Use the 3-D digi-adjuster again to select the Name
line, then press ENTER (or the 3-D digi-adjuster):

At this point you can enter a model name with a
maximum of sixteen characters; it should clearly
identify the model. This name will also appear in
the Status display.
Text input using the keypad ( 11.1.1.).
12.3.

Preparing the controls / switches

In the 4 FLAPS template the following transmitter con-
trols are already prepared in addition to the basic
functions of aileron, elevator and rudder:
a. Spoiler
controlled by stick, idle position (i.e. spoilers
retracted) forward.
b. Flap
controlled by slider F.
c. Throttle
controlled by slider E, Idle position back.
12.3.1.
Selecting / changing the idle position
for spoiler / throttle
If you wish to change the Idle position, you must carry
out this procedure:
a. Open main menu ¡Setup (press button L).
b. Select (3-D digi-adjuster) and open (press 3-D digi-
adjuster) menu Assignment.
c. Select (3-D digi-adjuster) and open (press 3-D digi-
adjuster) sub-menu Controls.
d. Select (3-D digi-adjuster) and open (press 3-D digi-
adjuster) Spoiler control.
