b. Transmitter control assignment
Roll, pitch, yaw (aileron, elevator, rudder) and collec-
tive pitch are defined by the stick mode which you se-
lected in step ( 13.2.5.).
!
Important: do not assign a throttle control!
The model helicopter's throttle is always controlled by
the collective pitch stick, so you must not enter any-
thing under Throttle in the menu Setup, Assign-
ment, Controls.

The throttle settings are entered under Throttle in the

Entering the model name

The model you have just stored initially bears the
name of the template you are using. In our example
this would be HELIccpm. To help you keep track of
your models, you should change this default name to
the actual model name.
This is the procedure:
a. Open the main menu ¦Memory
(press button I).
b. Select the Properties menu and open it:
¦Memory
¨Exit
Select model ....

c. Use the 3-D digi-adjuster again to select the Name

Preparing the controls / switches

13.3.1.
Checking / changing control settings for
idle / collective pitch min. and throttle
limiter min.
a. Idle / Collective pitch min.
In the Helicopter templates Idle / collective pitch
min. is set to "back"
(# arrow following the code letter).
b. Throttle limiter
By default the minimum position for the throttle
limiter is also set to "back".
This is the procedure for changing it to "forward":
Move to the menu ¡Setup, Assignment (e.g.
Coll. Pitch (Collect.)), and search for the trans-
mitter control to be changed:
Collect.
Press ENTER to open the menu point.
This change is "global" in effect, i.e. it affects all
models which are set up to use the HELI assign-
ment list. For this reason you must confirm the
warning message by pressing ENTER.
Collect.
Move the stick to the desired position for Idle / Col-
lective pitch min.:
Collect.
