ROYAL SX
Two- / three-position switches or push-button as
transmitter controls:
All the switches of the ROYAL SX can also be assigned
as transmitter controls. The control then only provides
two or three positions, i.e. proportional control is not
possible.
Examples:
Two-position switches:
Retracts, aero-tow release.
Three-position switches:
Electric motor OFF – half-throttle – full-throttle,
Flaps to neutral, launch or landing position.
If the function which you are operating with a switch
has no set-up options (e.g. Mixture control), adjust-
ments can be carried out in the menu Servo, Cali-
brate (end-points and centre, or intermediate points).
!
Check the idle position!
In the case of transmitter controls which only work in
one direction from the idle position (throttle, spoilers,
retracts), the idle position must also be set correctly at
the assigning stage. This is important for mixers, as
"nothing" is mixed in at the idle position. At the work-
ing position (full-throttle, spoilers / landing gear ex-
tended) the set travel input is to be mixed in.
This is the method of changing the idle position:
a. Select the desired transmitter control:
Spoiler
b. Press ENTER to open.
Press ENTER to confirm the warning message:
Spoiler
c. Move the control element to the desired idle posi-
tion: the arrow must point in the direction of the
desired idle position:
Spoiler
d. Confirm with ENTER:
Spoiler
e. Check:
The asterisk indicates that the control element is
located at the previously defined idle position.

Sub-menu Assign.Switches

14.3.2.
When you select and open the sub-menu, you will find
all available switch functions, and can determine
which control elements are to be used to operate
them.

signments for the lists ( 22.1.).
Last menu point in the list is Extra-Switch ( 14.3.3.).

(landing).
The trigger point is set under TriggerPoint in the
menu ¢Control.

Check the ON position!
In the case of switches the ON position can be deter-
mined in this menu. This is useful for adjusting the
switch positions to your personal preferences.
This is the method for changing the ON position:
a. Select the desired switch:
CS/DTC
Example: Combi-Switch is ON when switch N is
back (towards keypad). The arrow "<" indicates
that switch N can be found on the left-hand side of
the transmitter.
b. Open with ENTER.
Press ENTER to confirm the warning message:
CS/DTC
c. Move the switch to the desired ON position. The
arrow must point in the direction of the ON posi-
tion:
CS/DTC
d. Confirm with ENTER:
CS/DTC
e. Check:
The asterisk indicates that the switch is in the ON
position.

Special case Extra Sw.

14.3.3.
The switch which is connected to the terminal clamp
(terminals ABC) on the main circuit board is termed
the Extra-Switch (supplementary switch). This will
usually be a two-position or three-position stick switch.
The method of installing and using these switches is
described in Section ( 20.5.3).
If the Extra Sw. is to be used, it must be assigned a
"logical" function in addition to the "physical" input on
the main circuit board.
!
The Extra Sw. assignment always applies!
The same assignment always appears at the same
point in the five assignment lists. However, the se-
lected "logical" assignment can be used for different
transmitter control or switch functions.

!
Important: the assignment must be selected using
the 3-D digi-adjuster!
Quick-Select (selecting by operating) is not possible in
