Parameter PIN (access code)

14.5.1.
The purpose of the PIN (Personal Identification Num-
ber) is to protect the settings and values stored in your
transmitter. When the PIN is active, you can view set-
tings and values, but you cannot change them.
PIN = 0000
The default PIN provides no protection against changes
to the settings and values stored in your transmitter.
PIN = **** (four digits)
The PIN must contain at least one digit which is not "0".
If you enter a PIN, the lock takes effect next time you
switch the transmitter on. You can leaf through all the
menus, but as soon as you try to change anything you
will see this on-screen message:
Entering the correct PIN unlocks the system; the code
lock will be re-activated next time you switch the
transmitter on.
!
If you forget your PIN:
You can reset the PIN to 0000 - and thereby render it
ineffective - using the PC program ROYAL SX-Data-
Manager (free download from the Internet) and the PC
Interface lead # 8 5148 (USB) or # 8 5156 (serial).
