13.10.3. Assigning flight phase switches

You cannot use different transmitter control settings in
the various flight phases until you have assigned at
least one of the two switches:
- Main menu: Setup
- Menu: Assignment
- Menu point: Switches
- Parameter: Main phase
- Press ENTER to open the menu point
- Move switch I to the ON position
(* must appear on the screen).
If you wish to use all four flight phases, you will need
to assign two switches:
a. Switch: Main phase
(assign two-position switch)
Moving this switch to the ON position (marked with
* when assigned) activates flight phase 4.
The position of the second switch then has no effect.
If no switch is assigned for Phases 1-3, you can
only use the Main phase switch to select Phases
1 and 4.
b. Switch: Phases 1-3
(assign three-position switch)
This switch can be used to activate phases 1, 2 or
3, provided that the Main phase switch is at the
OFF position.

13.10.4. Locking / unlocking flight phases

It is possible to lock any flight phases which you have
not yet set up. Locked phases cannot be activated
even if a switch is assigned to them. If you neverthe-
less move the switch to the position corresponding to
a locked flight phase, an audible warning sounds
(beep every 0.5 seconds) for as long as the switch is
in the "wrong" position.
This is the procedure for locking / unlocking flight
phases:
- Open the main menu Memory (button I)
- Select the menu Flight phase
- Press ENTER to open the menu
(or press the 3-D digi-adjuster)

13.10.5. Copying flight phases

Once you have established the correct settings in one
flight phase, you can copy the values into another
flight phase and then modify them. This avoids the
need to re-enter all the settings from the start.
!
Only the current flight phase can be copied.
The destination (target) flight phase for the copy
process must be an unlocked flight phase.
This is the procedure for copying the current flight
phase:
- Open the main menu Memory (button I)
- Select the menu Flight phase
- Press ENTER twice to select the X
(or press the 3-D digi-adjuster twice):
¦Flight phase
¨Exit
1 HOVER

- Now select the destination (unlocked flight
phase)
using the 3-D digi-adjuster:

- Confirm with ENTER
(or press the 3-D digi-adjuster).
The marker jumps back to the code number for the
current flight phase. Only the name for the "Target"
phase is retained. All flight phase specific transmitter
control settings are now the same as in the current
flight phases.

13.10.6. Changing flight phase names

You can select any of the thirteen pre-set names for
the flight phases:
6
1
NORMAL
7
2
START1
8
3
START2
9
4
THERMAL1
10
5
THERMAL2
The only purpose of the name is to provide additional
information; it has no influence on the characteristics
of the corresponding flight phase. The crucial aspect
for the properties is always the flight phase number.
Once you have activated an input field for the name,
you can select a suitable name from those on offer.
