careful nollo
loosen the fuel pump assembly bolts [1 J in the
drop the
fuel
pump sequence as shown , and remove the bolts and spring
Unit.

Do not reuse the
O.rings.
Remove the cover plale (3] and fuel pump unit [4J from
the fuel pump case [51.
NOTE :
Be careful not to damage the fuel pump unit and its
wires.
Remove the O-rings [11.
Clean the inside of the fuel pump case [21 with clean
gasoline.

Visually inspect the fuel pump filter [1) for dirt. debris or
FA.
any clogging, and replace
it if
necessary. ype .

Disengage the fuel pump filter hook (2J from the fuel
pump unit boss (3) by tuming the fuel pump filter
clockwise, then remove the fuel pump filter.
