Grease the cotters

installation.
To
prevent loss of
tension,
do
not
compross the valve
springs more than
necessary.
Blow through the oil passage in the cylinder head with
compressed air.
Install the spring seats [1) and new stem seals [2J.
CYLINDER HEADNALVE
Lubricate the valve [1) stem sliding surface with
molybdenum oil solution.
Insert the valve into the guide while turning
it
slowly to
avoid damaging the stem seal.
Install the inner and ouler valve springs [2] with the
lightly wound coils facing the combustion chamber.
Install the spring retainer [3].
