13.4 DHCPv6 Snooping

DHCPv6 Snooping functions to monitor the process of the host obtaining the IPv6 address from
the DHCPv6 server. DHCPv6 Snooping records the IPv6 address, MAC address, VLAN and the
connected port number of the host for automatic binding.
Choose the menu Network Security→DHCPv6 Snooping→DHCPv6 Snooping to load the
following page.

Enter the sub-option Circuit ID for the customized Option 82
field.
Enable or disable the switch to define the Option 82
sub-option Remote ID field. With Disable selected, configure
the switch system MAC address as the remote ID default
value.
Enter the sub-option Remote ID for the customized Option 82.
Displays the LAG to which the port belongs.

Enable/Disable the DHCPv6 Snooping function globally.
Enable/Disable the DHCPv6 Snooping function in the specified
VLAN.
Displays the VLANs with DHCPv6 Snooping function enabled.
Select the desired unit or LAGS for configuration.
