17.1 Extended character sets
When creating or editing printable text such as sales messages or PLU text, you can
create additional text characters using the extended character facility. Enter the
appropriate numeric code for the character you require from the tables in this section.
To enter a character:
• Press
Latin character set
Example: To enter the character Æ.
To determine the code for the character you require:
• Read the number in the left hand column of the row (112)
• then add the number in the top row of the column (11)
This gives you the code for Æ - 123
