Promotional PLUs
If the PLU you select is programmed with a promotion, the PLU description on the
commodity display flashes.
Four types of promotion are available:
• price promotion
• frequent shopper
• weight or item free promotion
• discount promotion
Sales receipts and labels can be printed with messages giving details of the savings or
benefit to the customer.
If a frequent shopper promotion is in operation and a suitable label format is available, the
label shows the normal selling price and a special price.
