Install Wall Jacks for analog Devices
The connection of more than three analog devices to the PBX will be
made with additional wall jacks
The connection of these devices to the detachable clamps labelled with
01 to 06 (or 10) will be made with telecommunications cable (e.g.
JYY 0,6 mm). This name of the clamp is printed on the mainboard in
front of the clamp.
You are in need of one wire pair per subscriber or per wall jack. If you
use a wire diameter of 0,6 mm, the lines may have a distance of 800 m
between the PBX and the wall jacks.

In order to avoid interferences, lay the wires carefully and use twisted
pair cables. And avoid longer parallel leading of the lines especially next
to power supply cables.
Use of TAE Wall Jacks
Connect each clamp pair (e.g. 01) with the connector a and b of a single
wall jack (see
Pic.
26).
If you only like to connect telephones or FaxTAM machines, TAE single
wall jacks with F code (a jack marked „F") will be sufficient. But for the
connection of fax machines, modems and answering machines you are
in need of the N-coded TAE wall jacks.
The plugs of the telephones or FaxTAM machines will be plugged into
the jack marked „F". However, the plugs of the other devices will be
inserted into the jack marked „N".
