The PBX has 1 internal S port and 1 S

external S port is possible via a Western modular jack. The connection

to the internal S port is possible via fixed wiring to the 4 clamps b2, b1,

a1 and a2 or directly to a western modular jack.
The COMpact 4410 USB may be extended by two additional S
with one COMpact 2S Module. The module is not in the extent of sup-

ply of the COMpact 4410 USB. It has 1 internal S
that can alternatively be switched as internal or external S
switching is done by a three-row jumper. Pay attention to the labelling
on the COMpact 2S Module and insert the jumper into the correct posi-
0
tion (see also Pic. 10). Per default this S

plugs.
Insert the module between the board rails (slot A) and press it to the
mainboard until it clicks well into it´s position
Disconnect the device from the 230 Volt power supply and
e wait another 10 seconds before you plug a module in or
remove it.
As some of the component parts are sensitive to electrostatic dis-
charge, it is important to discharge yourself before touching the
controller with your hands or with tools. You should touch a
grounded metal device, such as a radiator or the case of a PC.
Please perform the necessary settings on the module before
insertion. This is important for the termination resistors and
the S port configuration (internal/external).
