Removal
Method #1
1. Remove the Engine Control Board (RRP 42, on page 7-190).
2. Disconnect the eight wiring harnesses.
Note
Two connectors (J537, J536) have locks to release before pulling on
the harnesses.
3. Remove the two screws that secure the Engine Control Interface Board
mounting bracket to the printer frame.
4. Remove the Engine Control Interface Board and mounting bracket from the
printer frame
Method #2
1.
Lower the HVPS assembly to a horizontal position.
2.
Disconnect the eight wiring harnesses.
Note Two connectors (J537, J536) have locks to release before pulling on
the harnesses.
3.
Remove the two screws that secure the Engine Control Interface Board
mounting bracket to the printer frame.
4.
Remove the Engine Control Interface Board and mounting bracket from the
printer frame
Reverse these steps to install the Engine Control Interface Board.
Note
Ensure that the interface board is reinstalled as high up as possible
to ensure full contact (properly seated).
