HINT:
The jiggle valve may be set within 30˚ of either side of the pre-
scribed position.

Install the water inlet with the 3 bolts.
NOTICE:
Torque the 2 upper bolts first.

- - THERMOSTAT

PLACE THERMOSTAT IN CYLINDER BLOCK

Install a new gasket to the thermostat.
Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve upward.

INSTALL WATER INLET TO CYLINDER BLOCK

Torque: 13 N∙m (130 kgf∙cm, 9 ft∙lbf)
FILL WITH ENGINE COOLANT
START ENGINE AND CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS
