Transmission related settings

Cover page

A cover page containing a simple message that can be automatically attached to the
documents.
NOTE
A cover page cannot be attached when performing manual
or when using an e-mail
„ Registering cover page message
You can register up to three types of message.

Press <Menu>.

Press [Setting].

Select "Register", and press [Enter].

Select "CoverPage Setup", and press [Enter].

Select a document number you want to register, and press [Enter].

Enter a message, and press [Enter].
•Up to 120 characters can be entered. For details on entering the characters, see chapter 1,
"Entering characters" in the Administrator's Guide.
•To insert a line break, press [Newline]. A line break is counted as two characters.
•You can check the entered message by pressing [ViewText]. After checking, press [Close] to
return to the entry screen.
•[ViewText] or [Newline] is displayed by pressing [].
