Entering the destination directly

„ Entering fax number

Press the mode change key to change to fax mode.

Enter the fax number using the numeric keys, and press [Enter].
•Up to 40 digits can be entered.
•Press [Clear] to delete the digit at the position of the cursor.
•Dialing options can be entered. For details on the dialing options, see
3-8).

When there are multiple destinations, repeat step 2.
NOTE
When you press []  [Register] after entering a fax number, you can register the
displayed fax number in the address book. For details, see
method 2 Registering a number entered with the numeric keys " (page
„ Entering e-mail addresses
When transmitting with scan to e-mail, enter the e-mail address.

Press the mode change key to change to scan mode.

Press <Advanced>.
You can also press <Mail Address>. In this case, proceed to step 4.

Select "Mail Address", and press [Enter].

Enter the e-mail address using the numeric keys, and press [Enter].
•Up to 50 characters can be entered.
•For details on entering the characters, see chapter 1, "Entering characters" in the
Administrator's Guide.
