• In the address book, an icon is displayed at the head of each destination, indicating
the type of destination that is registered.

• When using manual transmission
At manual transmission, [Enter] is displayed in stead of [Select], and when you
press [Enter], the transmission starts.
• You can use the numeric keys to display the destination names in alphabet groups.
For example, if the name begins with "d", "e", or "f", press <3>.
• To display destinations starting with symbols, press <#> of the numeric keys.
• You can also press []  [Index] to display the alphabet screen, then use the cursor
keys to select an alphabet group. Alphabet groups are grayed out if there are no
destinations registered in them.
„ Using the one-touch keys
This machine has 48 one-touch keys that are corresponding to the shared address book
destination 0001 to 0048.

Press the mode change key to change to fax or scan mode.

• If you want to specify multiple destinations using one-touch keys, set "Broadcast"
setting to ON before pressing the one-touch key. For details, see

• When you specify a destination from the one-touch key, transmission will start
