Printing journals

You can print journals that record the communication history of fax and scanner jobs. You
can print the journals either manually or automatically on the time you have registered
in advance.
Types of journals
The following types of journals are printed by the machine.
• Fax transmission journal
• Fax reception journal
• Fax transmission and reception journal
• e-mail transmission journal (Scan to e-mail transmission history)
• Folder transmission journal (Scan to Folder transmission history)
• FTP transmission journal (Scan to FTP transmission history)
Printing the journal manually
You can print the latest 100 jobs of each type of the journal. Jobs older than the latest
100 cannot be printed.
Printing the journal automatically
You can set the machine to print out the journal at every 100 jobs, or at a specified time of
the day (Reserve print).
When you specify the machine to print out the journal at every 100 jobs:
When you specify the time of the day (Reserve print), the machine prints out the journal
of the former day at the specified time everyday:
12:00a.m.
If the jobs of a day reaches 500, the machine prints out the journal at that time. The rest
of the jobs will be printed on the next day at the specified time. If the machine is holding
the journal of the former day when the job of the day reaches 500, the journal of the
former day will also be printed at that time and not at the specified time.
