Standard:
1,200 kPa (12.0 kg/cm
Minimum:
1,000 kPa (10.0 kg/cm
Cylinder difference:
100 kPa (1.0 kg/cm
Measurement steps:
S Crank over the engine with the throttle wide-
open until the reading on the compression
gauge stabilizes.
WARNING
Before cranking the engine, ground all spark
plug leads to prevent sparking.
S Repeat the previous steps for the other cylin-
ders.
NOTE:
The difference of compression pressure between
the highest and lowest cylinder compression
readings should be 100 kPa (1 kg/cm
less.
7. Install:

S Spark plug caps
