Usage Guidelines
802.3x flow control works by pausing a port when the port becomes
oversubscribed and dropping all traffic for small bursts of time during the
congestion condition. This can cause high-priority and/or network control traffic
loss.

storm-control multicast

This command enables multicast storm recovery mode for an interface or for all
interfaces. If the multicast storm recovery is active and the rate of Layer 2
broadcast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured
threshold, the traffic is dropped.
Use the no form of the command to disable it. In Global Config mode, the same
percentage is set on all ports.
