Use this command to establish a new outbound Telnet connection to a remote
host.
telnet {ip-address | hostname} port [debug] [line] [localecho]

No ip address or hostname.
Port—23
Description
Establishes a new outbound Telnet connection to a remote
host.
Displays configuration settings associated with the
switch's management interface.
Displays Telnet configuration and status information.
Description
The IP address of the Telnet server.
The hostname of the Telnet server. Ensure that a DNS
server is configured if a hostname is specified.
The logical port number for Telnet communications in the
range of 1025 to 65535.
Displays the currently enabled Telnet options.
Sets the outbound Telnet operational mode as line mode.
By default, the operational mode is character mode.
Enables keystrokes entered on the local device to be
echoed back to the screen immediately.
