Set whether or not the Auditron administration feature is enabled,
and whether or not to request an authentication operation.

Select Login Setup/Auditron Mode.
Select one of the following items: Off, Local Machine

Access, or Network Access.
The machine does not require a user login ID and password in
Off
order to operate it.
NOTE: Even if the Auditron Mode and Mailbox Access features
are set to On, a login password is not required to operate the
machine.
For information about authentication on the machine and how it
relates to the options here, refer to Authentication and Auditron
Administration on page 7-14.
Registered users much enter a valid login ID and password before
using the machine.
Carry out Auditron administration using user information managed
by an external accounting service.
Set whether or not to collate the authentication information. When
Off (Keep logon records) is selected, collation is not performed
even though input of User ID and Account ID will be
required. However, the job history report records inputted
information. Setting On collates authentication information.
Verifies remote accounting server. Can be used to manage user
information on a remote accounting server. User information
cannot be registered on the machine.
