4.1 Initial Setup Example for the K3HB-R

The initial setup is explained in the following example.
Settings Example
• A proximity sensor that outputs eight pulses per rotation is used to
detect the teeth on a gear and the rotation speed of the roller is
displayed in rpm.
• If the measurement value goes above 700 rpm, comparative
output H turns ON.
• If the measurement value goes below 500 rpm, comparative
output L turns ON.
Setting the Prescale Value
Prescale value ( ) = 1/8 = 0.125 = 0.125
Prescale value of Input A, X (mantissa): ps. ax = 0. 1250
Prescale value of Input A, Y (exponent): ps. ay = 10 00
Initial Setup Flow
●To change a set value, press the S [SHIFT] Key once to enable
changing the setting and then press the U [UP] Key to change the
value.
Press the M [MODE] Key to register the set value. The set value will
be registered and the next parameter will be displayed.
A Check the wiring and turn the power ON.
• The display will show "0".
B Set the function to F1 (rpm/circumferential speed).
1. Move to the initial setting level by pressing the L [LEVEL] Key for at least
3 s (operation will stop).
2. Set "func" to "f1" and press the
