Open the MLS Manager Home > License > Manage
Licenses menu (62101.01).

Press the [Install License] button.
A computer file selection dialog appears.

Select a function license key file to install.

Check the message, then press [OK].
When installation is completed, a "The license was
successfully installed." message appears.
Uninstalling all function licenses

Open the MLS Manager Home > License > Manage
Licenses menu (62101.01).

Press the [Uninstall All Licenses] button.

Check the message, then press [OK].
When uninstallation is completed, an "All of the
licenses were successfully uninstalled." message
appears.
Note
Function licenses cannot be uninstalled individually.
Exporting unique device ID information
A unique device ID may be required when issuing a
function license.
You can export and save a device information file that
contains the unique device ID to a computer or external
media connected to a computer.

Open the MLS Manager Home > License > Manage
Licenses menu (62101.01).

Press the [Export UDID] button.
A computer folder selection dialog appears.

Select a folder and save the device information file.
Managing and Installing a Software
Update License
You can install/uninstall a software update license which
is valid for one year that enables software updates on
boxes in an island.
You can install the following software update licenses
(options).

Note
Software update licenses are issued for boxes. The
installation destination is the MLS manager that manages
the box. Accordingly, if you move a box so that is
managed by another MLS manager instance, you will
need to reinstall the license on the new MLS manager. In
this case, it is not necessary to re-issue the software
update license.
Displaying the software update license
status
You can check information about boxes and software
update licenses in the MLS Manager Home > License >
Manage SUL menu (62101.02).
Box information
PBID: Physical box ID
Displayed after a box has been assigned to an island.
"---" is displayed if a box has not yet been assigned to
an island.
GID-LBID: Switcher group ID and logical box ID
Displayed after a box has been assigned to a switcher.
"---" is displayed if a box has not yet been assigned to
a switcher.
Type-I/O: Box input/output type
Hostname: Box host name
Status: Software update license status of a box
: A valid software update license is currently
installed.
+ "Awaiting Refresh": Box detection pending
status. Press the [Detect/Refresh] button.
+ "No valid SUL": A valid software update
license is not currently installed.
UDID (Unique Device ID): Unique device ID of a box
Software update license information
When the [All] button is selected, all software update
licenses installed in MLS Manager are displayed. When
the [Selected] button is selected, only the software update
licenses selected in the box information are displayed.
Box UDID (Box Unique Device ID): Unique device ID of
a target box
PBID: Physical box ID of a target box
Hostname: Target box host name
Status: Software update license status
: Target box is on the same network as MLS
Manager and currently has a valid license.
+ "Expired": Valid period of the current license
has expired.
No display: Current license has not yet expired or the
target box is not on the same network as MLS
Manager.
