Setting the Image Switch Timing

Open the Home > Setup > System > Format/Config >
Format menu (19101.22).

Select the [Settings] tab.

In the [Switch Timing] group, select the switch
timing.
Any: Not specified
Field1: Field 1
Field2: Field 2
Note
When the system signal format is 720P, [Switch
Timing] is set to [Any] (fixed).

Setting the Reference Phase

Note
In a multiple-box switcher configuration, the reference
phase cannot be configured. However, if boxes become
unusable due to operating conditions such that the system
operates as a 1M/E box configuration, the reference phase
can be configured.

Open the Home > Setup > System > Format/Config >
Format menu (19101.22).

Press the [System Phase] button and enter a reference
phase (microseconds) in the numeric keypad
window.

Displaying Box Information

Boxes are classified as follows, depending on the input/
output boards that are installed.
Box

M/E-IP
M/E box with MKS-X1110 IP Input & Output
Boards installed for input/output.
M/E-SDI
M/E box with MKS-X1115 SDI Input & Output
Boards installed for input/output.
M/E-none
M/E box without any input/output boards
installed.
M/E-mix
M/E box with MKS-X1110 IP Input & Output
Board and MKS-X1115 SDI Input & Output
Board installed for input/output (does not
operate).
XPT-IP
Cross-point box with MKS-X1110 IP Input &
Output Boards installed for input/output.

Cross-point box with MKS-X1115 SDI Input &

Cross-point box without any input/output
boards installed.

Open the Home > Setup > System > Format/Config >
Format menu (19101.22).

Select the [Information] tab.
The following box information is displayed.
Type-I/O: Displays the box input/output type
(M/E-IP, M/E-SDI, M/E-mix, M/E-none, XPT-
IP, XPT-SDI, XPT-none).
LBID: Displays the logical box ID (1 to 5) of the box.
Format: Displays the settings of the [Signal Format]
group of the [Settings] tab.
Input: Displays the input number of the box. [N/A]
is displayed if the box cannot be used or if the box
type is M/E-mix, M/E-none, or XPT-none.
Output: Displays the output number of the box.
[N/A] is displayed if the box cannot be used or if
the box type is M/E-mix, M/E-none, or
XPT-none. [---] is displayed if the box type is
XPT-IP or XPT-SDI.
Dedicated Output: Displays the dedicated output
number of the box. [N/A] is displayed if the box
cannot be used or if the box type is M/E-mix,
M/E-none, or XPT-none. [---] is displayed for a
1M/E box configuration, and if both the system
signal format is 1080P, 1080i, or 720P and the
box type is M/E-SDI.
Note: When the box type is M/E-mix, an error
description is displayed. If a box cannot be used,
the reason why the box cannot be used is
displayed.

Setting the Dynamic Range

Setting the OETF and color space
You can select the OETF (Opto-Electronic Transfer
Function) and color space.
The combinations of signal formats and OETF/color
space that can be selected are as follows.
