B. Controlling the Pick-Up
Roller
1. Outline
The copier has two pick-up rollers;
namely, the cassette pick-up roller and the
multifeeder pick-up roller. The drive to the
rollers is switched by a gear unit that shifts
the drive path; for this reason, the drive is
transmitted to only one of the two rollers at a
time.
