5) While holding the toner cartridge in
place, pull the OPEN seal straight to the
front to peel it.

ACaution:
Never dispose of a sealing tape in a fire or
incinerator.
6) Turn the toner cartridge counterclock-
wise until it stops.

7) Press on the ")" mark on the body to
close it firmly.
ACaution:
Do NOT throw the toner cartridge into fire;
it can burst or explode.

G. Using the Density
Correction Dial
If the copy density is too high, i.e., the
image is too dark, in density adjustment
mode (AE or manual), you may adjust the
copy density using the Density Correction
dial.
1) Shift up the open/close lever to open the
body.
2) Adjust the position of the density correc-
tion dial.
