Starting Service Mode
1) Open the copier's top unit, and remove
2) Turn on the copier, and short the jumper
the two screws @; then, remove the
wires JP3 and JP4 on the DC controller
upper front cover @).
PCB with a screwdriver.
* The count/ratio indicator on the control
panel turns on 'F'.
A flexible cable for the control panel is
connected to the front upper cover;
take care not to damage the cable.

3) When 'F' has turned on, stop shorting
the jumper wires JP3 and JP4.

Turn off and then on the copier.
