Adjustment Mode
Choose an item using the +/- key, and press the Start key to select it.
Increase or decrease the setting using the +/- key.
Press the AD key to store the setting.
If you changed the setting under No. 34 or No. 37 on a machine equipped with the drum
unit replacement time automatic display function, turn off and then on the power. When you
turn off and then on the power, the main motor will rotate and stop about 1 min later. If the
machine is NOT equipped with the function, go to step 5).
To clear the Item, press the Clear/Stop' key.
After changing the setting, record the new setting on the service label.
* Apress on the Start key while a description of service mode is indicated will start copying
operation.
If you changed the setting of No. 34 or No. 37 on a machine is NOT equipped with the drum
unit replacement time automatic display function, execute 'U7 installation/drum unit replace-
ment mode' in user mode.
Image leading edge
margin adjustment
A higher setting will delay the copy paper in relation to
the image, thereby decreasing the margin.
default: 14
Image leading edge non-
image width
A higher setting will increase the image leading edge
non-image width.
default: 32
Use it to enter the setting recorded on the label on the
drum cartridge after replacement of the drum cartridge.
(You need not enter the setting if the machine has the
drum unit replacement time automatic display function.)
