5. Use the slider in the Start Saver field to set the time
from when the system last receives input on the mouse
or keyboard until the system invokes the screen saver.
You can set this time from 1 (one) to 120 minutes.
Screen saver tips
Remember these tips when you set the screen saver:
• During times that you are using the monitor frequently,
make sure you set the Screen Saver field to Off. This set-
ting ensures that the monitor will not invoke DPMS, so
that you will not have to wait for the monitor to stabilize
when you begin to use it again.
• Set the Screen Saver field to On when you will be away
from the computer for several hours. With the screen
saver running, your system will conserve energy, and the
monitor's CRT will last longer.
