Use the
command to program a new default
video_mode
monitor mode. For example, if you want to program mode
E on the first board in the system, type this command:
video_mode -d /dev/md4pcx0.0 -m E
After you enter this command, you must reboot the sys-
tem for the new default monitor mode to take effect.
To enable the blanking pedestal, use a lowercase letter
when you type the mode. For example, to program mode E
with pedestal enabled, type this command:
video_mode -d /dev/md4pcx0.0 -m e
By default, blanking pedestal is disabled.
