To verify that the communication is established, display the status at each
end of the fiber-optic link by executing the D S and D S D commands on the
MMI terminal to display the superloop and the fiber-optic link status at the
near-end and the far-end of the link. If the Alarm Level is 0 for at least one
link at both ends, the communication is established.

After the communication with the distant site has been verified, the
current Fiber Remote Multi-IPE Interface configuration parameters can
be displayed to decide which parameters should be changed to meet the
system requirements.
