Com mon oil leaking
Fault description
The torque converter leaks
at its housing.
It l eaks at the contact
surface between the
transmission and converter.
It leaks at the contact
surface between the
transmission and oil pan.
It leaks at the contact
su rface between the
transmis sion and side cover.
It leaks at brake C' and the
hydr aulic cylinder head .
It leaks at the brake band's
adjusting bolt.
It lea ks at the driven shaft
bearing's outer race
positioning bolt.
It leaks at connection of the
air throttle's cable.
It leaks at the differential.
It lea ks at the housing of the
odometer drive gear.
It leaks at the seat of the
odometer's driven gear seat.
It leaks at the throttle.
It leaks at the shift shaft.

Tr ansmission fluid level inspection
Note: Preheat to norm al operating temperature before fluid level inspection: 80℃.
1. Park the vehicle on leveled ground.
N ote: The control handle must be pulled to position P when inspecting the fluid level.
2. Pull the control handle to position
3. Pull ou t the oil gauge and inspect the fluid level.
4. The correct fluid level must be between the minimum and maximum marks.

6. If the fluid level is higher than the maximum mark, the transmission is too full. Drain the oil
from the oil pan's drain plug. Then inspect the fluid level.

Cracks on the converter's welding seam.
The connecting bolt is loose.
The oil pan's connecting bolt is loose.
The side cover's gasket is loose.
The side cover's connecting bolt is loose.
The side cover's gasket is damaged.
Defective O ring on the cylinder head.
Defective O ring on the brake band's push

The positioning bolt is loose.

Defective O ring at the joints.

Replace the gasket.
Replace the torque converter
Tighten the connecting bolt
Tighten the connecting bolt
Replace the oil pan, if necessary.
Replace the gasket.
Tighten the side cover's connecting
bolt.
Replace the side cover gasket.
Replace the O ring
Replace the O ring.
Tighten the positioning bolt.
Replace the sealing ring.
Replace the O ring.
Replace the air throttle cable, if
necessary.
Replace the input shaft's oil sealing.
Replace O ring.
Tighten the connecting bolt. .
Replace O ring.
Replace the rack.
Adjust fluid level.
Drain the oil. Use the correct
hydraulic
transmission, if necessary.
