Failure: too high system votage
Step Operation
Connect scanner and commutator, and then turn

ignition switch to "OFF".
Check battery voltage with a multimeter to see if it

is around 12V.
Start engine, check charging voltage of generator at
3 different engine speeds to see if it maintains within
9-16V.
Check ground point of engine wire harness to see if
4
it isin good condition.
Failure: non-programmed check code error of ECU
Step Operation
Connect scanner and commutator, and then turn

ignition switch to "ON".
Clear failure code, recheck the failure to see if it is a
2
constant failure.
3 Replace ECU.
Failure: non-programmed diagnostic data identification code error of ECU
