Failure: driver stage control circuit error of carbon canister control valve
Step Operation
Connect scanner and commutator, and then turn

ignition switch to "ON".
Unplug carbon canister control valve connector
from wire harness, check the voltage between Pin 1

of connector and cathode of power supply with a
multimeter to see if it is around 12V.
Check power supply terminal wiring of carbon
3 canister control valve to see if open circuit or short
circuit to ground occurs.
Check the resistance between Pin 1 and Pin 2 of
4 carbon canister control valve with a multimeter to
see if it is between 17.5-23.5Ω at 20℃.
Check the voltage between Pin 2 of carbon canister
5 control valve connector and cathode of power
supply with a multimeter to see if it is around 3.7V.
Check the connection between Pin 2 of carbon
6 canister control valve connector and Pin 52 of ECU
to see if open circuit occurs.
Failure: too low driver stage control circuit voltage of carbon canister
control valve
