11. FAULT W/O CODE DIAGNOSTIC CHART
1 Ignition On (Engine off), ABS warning light is not on
［Note］
ABS warning light not on maybe caused by open warning light voltage
circuit, burned bulb or damaged warning light control unit.
Check ABS warning light fuse at
central electrical box.
Check central electrical box fuse socket.
Remove ABS ECU connector
Ignition: ON position
Is warning light on?
Check if wire connecting ABS
warning light control unit and ECU
short to ground?
Replace electrical harness
SQR7160 series sedan ABS system－fault diagnostic and repairing
No okey
OKAY
Not okey
OKAY
NO
YES
Check if there is open circuit in
ABS electrical harness voltage
and ground circuit?
Check ABS warning light voltage
YES
and ground circuit connector.
Replace fuse.
Replace fuse socket
Check if ABS
warning light burned?
NO
Normal
Normal
Does fault appear again?
YES
Replace ABS warning
light control unit
Possible causes
● blown fuse
● burned ABS warning light blub
● open voltage circuit
●damaged ABS warning light control
unit.
