again to restart fuel pump. Check to see if fuel
pressure is established.
15 Turn on fuel gauge valve, clamp the fuel return pipe
with fuel return interceptor to stop fuel returning.
Check to see if fuel pressure occurs quickly.
16 Check fuel inlet pipe to see if leakage or blockage
occurs.
17 Check fuel return pipe to see if it is blocked up or
bent.
18 Connect a commutator between ECU and wire
harness and then check Pin 15, 47 and 29 of ECU to
see if there is voltage on them. Check the anode
power wire connecting these pins and the grounding
wire connecting Pin 27 and 28 of ECU to see the
connections are proper.
19 Check air intake system parts to see if leakage occurs.
20 Check intake manifold absolute pressre sensor and
temperature sensor to see if they are blocked up.
21 Check coolant temperature sensor to see if it works
properly.
22 Check to see if starting failure is caused by
mechanical errors, such as excessive clearance
between piston and cylinder, or air leakage in
cylinder, etc. (cylinder pressure is fairly low in these
cases).
